Banger place, good value for price, and best for lunches. Don’t expect much with service as you don’t need to interact with the staff much as ordering happens through QR, but the staff are generally polite and nice. Food is always consistent, and they have a large selection of items as well. Tempura is crispy, teriyaki chicken has good taste, sushi is good. Atmosphere is casual, very airy, can be a bit uncomfortable to sit with some of the hard chairs, but never had a bad time here.

Pretty good bentos for lunch. The chilli pork and salmon steak were both well prepared with a host of other accompaniments like some sushi, tempura and salad. The miso soup was a treat.

Their food portions have never wavered. Where lesser sushi spots have shrunk portion sizes this venue has maintained top quality and service.

Probably the best Japanese takeaway in Sydney. Perfect experience: the set comes with 7-8 items, each prepared with care, and the staff are attentive to special requests! Still there is a small suggestion: the teriyaki chicken/beef sauce is a bit too heavy and salty, which feels out of step with the overall style. It might be even better if the flavor of teriyaki chicken was lighter :)

Doesn't look like much from the outside but it is definitely worth trying this place! For less than $50 we got a table full of food and a couple of drinks, so reasonably priced. The Bento box was amazing.

Great Japanese restaurant in Newtown. Small, simple, and cozy, with a fantastic menu. Every dish we ordered was beautifully presented and full of flavour. It’s hard to say which one we liked the most, as each had its own unique taste that complemented the others. The wine was also delicious and paired well with the meals.
